    ***Allscripts Veradigm Vice President & General Manager***


    The primary purpose of this Veradigm senior-leadership role is to maximize business unit profitability through the development and execution of strategic business plans aligned to corporate objectives.



    • Manage all activities to achieve improvements in quality clinical outcomes and market position, reduce cash outlay and related costs. Create new and refine existing processes and procedures to achieve better integration between business units and facilitate collaboration with executive team.
    • Develop, execute and manage all departments and strategies ensuring optimum execution efficiency and superior performance. Work with all department heads to ensure deadlines are achieved.
    • Collaborate with leaders to establish and manage company policies regarding brand, design, promotions, and marketing. Establish brand strategies for business unit products and solutions, improving current products while creating new products and ensuring brand/product effectiveness across all platforms and territories.
    • Review projects, budgets, strategies and internal resource allocation. Present complete project-level business analysis for executive approval. Design processes and procedures to maximize content viability on all platforms, reduce costs, maximize efficiency and improve market position. Ensure accuracy and productivity with a focus on cost management.
    • Develop, seek approval for and execute annual business plans. Identify opportunities, determine strategies, assign resources and manage teams to realize profit potential and achieve short- and long-term goals. Endeavor to develop solid recurring revenue models with demonstrated growth potential.
    • Develop strategic partnership and leverage existing partnership to enable stead growth. Utilize resources to help achieve great product/solution visibility and cross platform/territory continuity of brands, products and company image.
    • Identify opportunities, perform due diligence, present plans to the executive team for guidance and/or approval and oversee operations for all approved efforts.
    • Collaborate with leaders to improve overall company efficiency, increase revenue, lower costs and promote enriching working environments that encourages innovation and commitment to success on all levels.
    • Execute product and process initiatives, participate in the development research, engage in negotiations, develop relationships and design deal concepts as directed by executive leadership.
    • Design cross-business unit work process and build internal organizations to encourage continual product/solution innovation and competitiveness.
    • Identify and recruit internal/external talents to ensure effective mix of competencies.
    • Induct new joiners in order to quickly maximize performance.
    • Set and communicate team/individual objectives and KPI to inspire individuals to achieve high performance.
    • Allocate work load to fully utilize every employee's talent.
    • Implement development plans and coach for individuals to reach their maximum talent.
    • Provide regular constructive feedback on performance/development and address poor/mediocre performance on a timely manner.
    • Recognize high performers to maintain motivation and retain key talent.
    • Regularly communicate on company news and team progress against business plan.
    • Create team spirit.


    Academic and Professional Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, or a technical discipline required
    • MBA preferred



    • 20+ years of management experience in the healthcare industry with a strong background in sales, marketing and product development environments
    • Relevant EHR/Practice Management and RCMS experience is critical

    • Experience in managing P&L centers and understanding financial income statements is required with strong computer skills
    • Understanding of competitive strategies


    Travel Requirements:

    •  Ability to travel 30% domestically or internationally


    Working Arrangements:

      Work is performed in a standard office environment with minimal exposure to health or safety hazards
