    The primary purpose of this role is to deliver on product roadmap priorities to achieve time to market and time to value targets by managing the product development lifecycle for a given product(s) through proven technical leadership. Products are analytic datasets based on real-world healthcare data, including electronic health records, patient-generated data, and administrative claims that support Life Sciences and other health services research.


    • Cross-functionally drives development and launch of the product from concept to delivery
    • Plans, manages, and executes product roadmaps, development schedules, and product/component designs
    • Understands market needs and competitive landscape to inform product development priorities, pricing and sales approach
    • Collaborates with marketing to develop and execute on product strategy and launch, and to communicate value to the target market
    • Explains designs and constraints to stakeholders; Collects and manages requirements from stakeholders
    • Work with engineering, QA, professional services, and technical operations during product design and implementation to shape the technical feature set and usability of the product
    • Ensures the highest quality products delivered on time, on budget and with superior performance and support
    • Manage business analysts to define use and business cases, write technical and functional specifications, and run analyses to ensure that requirements are met
    • Gathers feedback and then injects that feedback into the design cycle
    • Coordinates business and contractual arrangements with partners
    • Trains and supports others on functional area related topics


    Academic and Professional Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree in public health, information systems, business; advanced degree preferred
    • Relevant post graduate qualifications and professional memberships will be preferred.

    Experience Requirements:

    • Minimum 10 years related work experience in Pharmaceutical 
    • 8 years of experience in product management or marketing or program management in the healthcare information or software industry or equivalent education
    • Experience managing products or services that support Life Sciences companies
    • Knowledge of epidemiology, health economics, statistics, data science, medical informatics, or database or software development
    • Understanding of sources and applications of Real World Data
    • Demonstrates ability to work independently and think strategically while managing multiple projects and consistently meeting timelines.
    • Experience with relational databases
    • Demonstrated success in working in matrixed organizations across multiple locations
    • Ability to define and manage complex process and/or product issues of a broad scope using independent judgment
    • Excellent analytical skills
    • Excellent interpersonal communication and management skills
    • Demonstrated problem solving skills
    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and consistently meet timelines.
    • Proficient writing technical functional specifications

    Travel requirements:

    • National & International as required (estimated 25%)
